Default Why doesn't Toyota make fun cars anymore?
Toyota used to make wonderful, sporty cars for the average Joe like the Celica All-Trac, the MR2, and the Supra. I own an '88 MR2 SC. No car Toyota makes currently can compare in handling and economy. The entire Scion line is cheaply made crap for teens. And don't even try to say the Tc has anything on a MR2 turbo or s/c. And the All-trac celica would have whipped it's ass too. The Supra turbos would entirely crush them. Now the only cars even resembling sporty are in the Lexus line, and even the IS300 with all it's power (lol) can't compare. Basically, WTF???? Honda also got rid of everything fun too. There just isn't anything I want to bhuy. I'm getting so desperate I'm starting to like the Fiat Abarth they just started importing.

and yea, the 2012 civic si is junk ill agree on that and i also miss the s2000

Thank your worthless president. He's the one that started that cash for clunkers bullshit. Then mandated vehicles to get better fuel economy while pushing this damn ethanol fuel on everyone, destroying any ability for a vehicle to get decent gas mileage. Went from 23mpg in my truck before ethanol to 18-19mpg with ethanol. yeah great plan Obummer.

Problem with fun cars with Toyota and Honda, is nobody goes to Honda or Toyota for fun cars. They want a cool car made by BMW, or Porsche. So they don't sell, and they discontinue the models. Like the Honda S2000, even when it was selling, I hardly ever saw it on the road. A not to expensive fun car is Honda CR-Z, with ECO mode, and SPORT mode. Price- $19,200 - $23,210















Or a nice muscle car, not made by Honda or Toyota, but not too expensive, Chevorlet Camaro. Price- $22,680 - $39,650 (312-426 horse-power)

There arent alot of people interested in sporty















cars anymore. Majority of people who had two















doors traded there vehicles in for 4 doors. Theres















more of a demand for family
