Default 1991 Toyota mr2 cold start problem?
H everyone, I have 1991 mr2 gt turbo and first when in the morning I start the car it shuts off instantly, after 4 times of try and pressing the gas pedal, it starts and idles a lot, once the engine is warm it starts instantly, but when is first cold start gives me trouble. Also when I put the gear in neutral starts to idle. What can cause that problem and how can I solve it?































PS: some people told me may be a sensor problem or fuel injecrots are dirty.

I typed "91 mr2 cold start problem? " in the search box and clicked, your vehicle has a cold start injector that gives the engine the extra fuel it needs when cold. If you have a shop repair manual and are mechanically inclined good. If not its going to the shop. Its not that hard to check, and is most likely not working due to a bad sensor. hang in there , get to the mechanic its fixable.
