2007 Toyota Camry won't start?

Hello, this morning my mom was trying to start her car and was unable to do it.

The car kept making a "Crrrrr, Crrrrr" noise. (sorry this is the only way i can describe it.)

All the dash lights are working, when you put it to ignition everything works, but when you start it, the noise is coming. (mentioned above)

What could be causing this problem? (could it be battery, alternator, starter?)

I did remember something

my dad took it to toyota dealer for 30K service and the technician told us that some of battery's cells are dead.

EDIT:

I started the car couple hours later and it struggled and eventually it started. I took it out for a run and it was fine.

Overall if I try to start it again it will struggle.

Sounds like the battery is dead. Has it been sitting for a while or were the headlights left on?

It could also mean the alternator has stopped charging the battery and needs attention. You also may want to check to make sure the battery terminals are tight.

Try charging the battery and if it starts drive it to the shop and have both the battery and alternator checked.

Technician said that some of the cells were dead but didnt

advise to change the battery out soon? Even one dead sell

could render the battery useless. Try changing the battery

out and see if you get any luck and if not then you might want

to consider replacing the starter
