Default Help with my toyota corolla...?
I have a 2011 Toyota corolla s 5-speed manual. I was suggested a turbocharger to make it more fun to drive. Does anyone know what turbo would fit this car? Maybe some links to them? It's a 1.8 L I-4. Should I also get it installed by a professional? I have very little car maitinence experience but would like to gain more.

Turbocharger would make your car alot faster but it















comes with a price as well. Plan on spending atleast















5-6K on a Turbo. And if you have very little car maintenance















and plan on letting someone else install it you might want















to add another thousand or two on the price tag for labor.















But if your just looking around to see some turbochargers















try the links below. You can also go on youtube and search















2011 Corolla turbo and you will probably get alot of videos















which people installed turbos and are testing them out. When















you see that speedometer move compared to yours when flooring















it your jaw is going to drop lol happened to me when I first saw















a supercharged tundra. You can probably get your turbo for alot















cheaper but you know the saying you get what you pay for.

Adding a turbo to a non turbo prepared engine is not a wise choice. The bearing tolerances are different for this type of application. A typical turbo compression ratio is 8 to 8.5 to one, this then allows for the boost to come on and pump up the compression thus adding the power that you are looking for. Your computer is not dialed in for the advance curve that takes place during the turbo boost cycle. This would have to be modified as well with the cost and the modifications involved, I believe that you would come to regret adding the turbo. Just my opinion and a lot of years of experience.

Richard your very very very wrong. You can install a turbo charger on any vehicle and if you dont believe me search it up on youtube buddy
