Default what was a 1970's or 80's Toyota Light truck 4wd (Australia)?
its not the Landcruiser, or Hilux & i don't think its the Dyna.































but it was sold in Australia with 4wd and dual cab, it could be the dyna, but ive yet to see one from 70's or 80's in dual cab form, and i don't remember it being as big as the dyna either.































not much more to go on im affraid.















Tacoma is what we call Hilux in Australia

You got me! Are you sure you're not thinking of a Hilux? That's the only double-cab I can imagine. They looked different then:

The Toyota light truck 4wd you are thinking of is in fact the Hilux. It was offered in 4 door utility with short box.

There was one called Trekker in the U.S. and Canada. It was a cab chassis which had a fiberglass rear section, to make it into an suv. This was before 4runner. It wasn't offered in Australia.

could have been a toyota 4-runner which was similar to a toyota hilux!
