Default How many ounces of R-12 and mineral oil are in a 1984 Toyota Cressida?
I am replacing my compressor and was wondering the capacities of these two items, thanks. This has the 2.8.

Unless you have the equipment to vacuum the system down to no pressure and you have a few cans of r12 already, you're about to make a big mistake. You can't just shoot the stuff in a contaminated AC ( it should have NO air in it at all) and it's done. After you replace all the parts, go to an AC specialist and have the system evacuated and recharged. R12 is illegal to buy all over the USA. I bet you'll wind up converting to R13a. At least you CAN buy r13a. The lube for r13a is not the same as lube for r12 and the two are not compatible with each other.
