You bro you can do that. To make it into a racing car you have to add the following:
1. Roll cage
2. Remove any excess metal from the body.
3. Remove all the upholstrey (that is seats, radio, speakers, everything has gotta go) to keep the weight to a minimum.
4. Put in racing seats (new ones can be expensive but second hand ones are readily available)
5. If you want to mod the engine best to change the intake valve and the exhaust system (can increase your horsepower)
6. Finally if you want to seriuously add power change your air filter and add a turbocharger.
