Default 1993 corolla radiator overflow hose problem?
i have a 1993 toyota corolla and i replaced the radiator cuz there was a big hole in it..now when i drive i see white steam from under the hood and open it and the little hose that hangs from the radiator overflow bottle is spitting out water all over the place...and the overflow bottle is empty...i fill it with water and again, it does the same thing...anyone know whats going on with it? i know that the hose should lead into nothing but i dont think it should be spitting out water...also temp gauge is staying at middle so its not overheating..just spitting out water. ive tried some stop leak stuff but it only worked for maybe 3 days...someone please help!!

major motor failure-head gasket because you let it overheat. prob not worth fixing. not fit for futher use.

Take the car to the mechanic. You should even think of buying a newer car, that car is just too old.

replace the radiator cap,check the oil filling cap if any gray color on oil,so it could be the head gasket blown out....

Suggest you consider a cooling system pressure test and this will help to identify what is causing your problem. Part of the test includes testing of the radiator cap to see if it will hold system pressure. Next test would be a leak down bypass test to evaluate the engines condition and determine if the engine is still serviceable. First determine if you have an engine that is worth investing more time and money into. Good Luck
