i second the motion!
the I4 is killer off road. better than the V6 in many areas. lighter, lower center of gravity, and with the gear ratios avail they can put very *similar* torque numbers at the wheels.
only issues with the I4 is if it's an '85 or older short deck. these have t-chain tensioner issues. requiring extra attention. especially with the manual trans where torque is completely released and applied.
