What type of shocks should I get for my Toyota Tundra with a 3 inch lift?

Default What type of shocks should I get for my Toyota Tundra with a 3 inch lift?
I have a toyota tundra with a 3 inch lift kit on it. I need to find new shocks for it and am hoping to find out what would be the best to work with the lift. The truck is solid as a work truck and always hauling trailers with lots of weight. Any help would be great, Thanks!

year? front or back?















go to any 3" kit offered on your vehicle. look at the details for a "full" kit with shocks. get the specs on that.















or go to an auto parts store and explain it to them. sure they can steer you in the right direction.

the issue i have with helping you is some 3" kits are actually 4" lift in front and 3" in back. depends on the lift you have.















if the shocks are going out a little prematurely due to the hauling, that's working the springs as well. might consider helper springs. shocks may last a little longer. so will the springs.

KING makes good stuff but it is pricey. Have you looked into Bilstein 5100's? Both are fully adjustable up to 3".
