Default 1978 land cruiser will a v8 bolt to the transmission?
1987 FJ60 Landcruiser. im wondering is a v8 and if so what one will bolt up to the stock manual transmission. also if any one knows were to get the engine mounts so i dont have to machine them.

The short answer is that there aren't any V8s that bolt right in without an adapter of some sort. There are multiple aftermarket vendors that offer various combinations of adapters and motor mounts to achieve what you are looking for.































Advance Adapters (http://www.advanceadapters.com/) is a good place to start, but realize that they're more toward the "pay-more-money-and-do-less-work" end of the spectrum.
