how to turn off drl on 01 corolla?

Default how to turn off drl on 01 corolla?
i have a 2001 corolla with drive-runing lights oem. i cant install an hid coz i cant turn off the DRLs of my car. can somebody help me out on this. i want to manually turn the lights on and off. i just want the DRLs out. thanks

Many have a DRL interlock switch on the parking brake so the DRL's turn off whenever the parking brake is activated (for whatever reason). You can find the switch and then hard-wire it for whatever setting makes the DRL's go off.
