In Corolla 2005 there is a switch named Cruise, When should be used during driving?

Cruise control makes it so the vehicle maintains a certain speed that you are at. As soon as you break it shuts off, and yes you can take your foot off the pedal.

It's a switch that keeps at a steady speed and can be used when on the motorway, or driving long distances at the same speed.
