What is wrong with my 1994 Toyota Camry LE?

Default What is wrong with my 1994 Toyota Camry LE?
I recently got ownership of an old 1994 Toyota Camry. It runs good and is great with gas. The only issue I have is that when breaking, I have to push the brakes all the way in. I have replaced the brakes and they worked fine up until today when I made a sudden stop and then they were back to their old ways. (pushing the brakes all the way in to make the car stop)































I have read that I may need to 'bleed' the brakes but I'm not sure how or if it applies to my situation. Whenever the car is off and I apply pressure to the brakes, it only takes 3 pushes to get them to lock. (idk if that's the correct term, but hopefully you know what I mean.)































Like I said, after the new brakes were put on, it worked great. But now after I actually had to use them; they stopped functioning like they're supposed to. What do I need to do? Any suggestions? Help me...

I once had a car that did something like that. I think it ended up being that I was low on braking fluid.

It could be a few things I would 1st check the break fluid level as stated above. next I would then bleed the brakes. It is an easy process if you know what you are doing. It is also a 2 man job so Find somebody that knows how to do it and there's your 2 people and your know how. If that doesn't fix it then I would start looking for leaks most commonly found at the break cylinders in the rear drums. If you don't see any leaks then you should look to replace your master cylinder

You might have air in your lines.















Bleed your brake lines and you should be ok















check you master cylinder for leaks and proper















fluid level. If you have to keep refilling fluid then















master cylinder is bad

sounds like air in the brake lines don't mess around with brakes leave it to a pro
