Default I have a toyota 4-runner that the engine light as well as the VSC Trac light stay on Need...
...help on knowing what? need help on know what the problem is andhow to fix it , been told it would be 300 to 500 to fix

Something is probably wrong with the traction control module. You can probably disable the traction control all together if you dont need it unless you live where it snows and stuff then clear the code by disconnecting the battery but you got to figure out how to do that exactly. Do you know the engine code? Try google and see if anyone has had the same problem as you and if they were able to have a fix for it. More then likely its probably to disable traction control
