I am hoping it got in there by accident. If so have it towed to a tranny shop and have them do a total flush on it. If they cant hook up a machine to flush out the entire system, find another shop who has one.

Chances are it's going to turn to sludge very soon if not already and yes bad for the tranny. How is it shifting if it shifts real hard, Bang rev high then Bang you have major problems. If you caught it soon enough you might be able to flush it out. It also means there's ATF in your cooling system. you need a new radiator.
