Default Windshield crack on certified used Toyota just when i bought it. Dealeraship or Toyota
should replace it? I just bought a Toyota and just noticed that the windshield has a little crack (same day i bought it) It is a certified pre-owned vehicle. Does the dealership or Toyota have to do something about it, or what kind i do now?

No one has to do anything about it. You bought an "as is car". A good dealer would replace it but I doubt that it will happen. See the dealer. I laugh at the term certified pre-owned vehicle. This is a sales gimmick. This is a used car that the dealer wanted to get rid of. Certified means nothing unless it includes a 90 day warranty. Good luck.

Your word against his that it was done when you picked it up.















Nothing to do with Toyota, try the dealer but don't hold out much hope.

check with your insurance company they may replace or repair it for free

Toyota will NOT cover it. Cosmetic damages are not covered by the 12 month warranty. Everything MECHANICAL (such as battery, alternator, engine) is covered. Body panels, mirrors, scratches...usually not covered.















However, if you talk to the agent you bought the car from, they might be nice and repair it for you free of charge since the car was "certified used" and newly bought by you.















If not, file a compliant. Tell them you want to speak to their service manager if they say no.
