No, it depends what you call "good on gas".

Most of them have the 3.4L V-6 (In the US) which delivers around 18mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway.































If you can manage to find one with the 2.7L, you can get closer to 20 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.

Its terrible on gas. As a 2000 car, 11~12 years should have caused some wear and tear on the engine causing the car not running at optimum performance. It was bad on gas then...its even worse now.

Not sure what Tyler there's been smoking, but it should get well over 20mpg, which is decent for A SUV its size. Mostly depends what you call "good on gas." If you're used to an Excursion with a V10, it's great on gas. If you're used to a Corolla, it might seem terrible to you.
