Default I recieved a message stating: "Remote control is not in the ignition lock. Restarting
the engine may not be po? I recieved a message stating: "Remote control is not in the ignition lock. Restarting the engine may not be possible." I recieved this message after numerous unsuccessful trys starting my car and upon the final successul start the message showed. I of course had to shut the engine off because it was after 8pm. Around 1030pm I tried to start it and was unsuccessful.What does this mean? Is the battery in my remote control key dying? 2004 BMW 525I

low battery, failed to send signal. unless there's a slot for the key when it will start find even with dead battery
