Is maintenance cost of Celica 2000-02 very high?

Default Is maintenance cost of Celica 2000-02 very high?
I really like Celica but as I am a student I have to be cautious about the maintenance cost. Is the cost high for Celica because it's production has been stopped? Also I live in a hilly area. Does Celica have problem with hilly roads? I wouldn't gonna put a lot of mileage on it. My place is in 3 miles to the university, so even if I use it every day it just would be 6 miles a day. I might travel sometimes but overall I believe the annual mileage wouldn't pass 5k. Overall, which car is more suitable for me: Celica or other economy cars like Corolla or Civic, considering I love Celica ?? Thanks!

The celica is by far the better car to get I had a 2000 celica with 120,000 miles on it and never once had to fix anything on it. Plus dont quote me on this i do belive that the corolla has the same. V V T I moter in it that the celica has. Hear is a list of resons. To get the celica















1. The coolest looking year of celica 2000 and up















2. Great fuel mileage















3. Huge ...huge aftermarket products made for it.















4. Toyota makes it very reliable















5. Pretty good power for a stock vehical "no problem going uphill"















6 they don't make.them.any more so resale value is exellent " people love them so getting harder to find"















7. Cost. Of parts ain't much diffrent than any other car.

It always depend on the parts that needs to be repaired or maintained my friend. You can also study on how to fix parts if you want to lessen these cost. I repaired the window motor of my Honda CR-V just by studying recalls and how tos in the internet. It only cost me $60.26 for the part itself.
