I am pretty sure it can do that much on second gear. You could be pushing it but I figure you would be alright.

Why punish a car like that? Shift to a higher gear befor you hit the redline or you will be crying about a broken down engine. Maybe the transmission in your car is geared so you can go 60 mph in 2nd gear and not redline it, but that's stupid and a waste of gas.
