Default What transmission fluid do I use for a 07 Toyota Corolla? Do I need a hex wrench or a
regular socket wrench? I don't want to bother with the overpriced dealer. I will just go to Wal Mart or Autozone.

You can only get the proper type WS fluid at a Toyota dealer either in person or online. There are sites that have discounted genuine Toyota parts online.































Any other fluid is a crap-shoot, kind of like the many Chrysler transmissions that have been destroyed by using the wrong fluid, mainly Dexron III instead of the proper ATF +3 (7176) or ATF +4 (9602).

Not true the dealers transmission fluid isnt any better then the ones you get at local parts store or walmart. Read the owners manual theres a detailed section on how to check the fluid and what type of fluid to use and when the fluid should be changed. If you do buy from walmart spend the extra couple bucks to get a better brand though.
