Default anybody know anything about the trouble code p0741 for an 05 corrolla?
the check engine light comes on & then a couple days later it turns off, then a couple days after that it turns on again. ppl keep telling me what i already know, which is what my scanner tells me. it say "ck torque converter performance or stuck off" but other than reduced mpg the car seems to run fine.















any thoughts? anyone? im just looking for a little more info so i dont get completely screwed when i take it in. THANK U!

Nothing for a "corrolla" but there is some information on a Corolla. Don't make mechanics out to be pirates simply because you don't understand your car. Please? It's offensive.

That's a problem with the torque converter circuit. You still have some warranty left on the car, so take it in for service by warranty. If you knew all the parts, would you be prepared to work on your transmission? It's really better to leave some repairs to the experts.

some of these diagnostics tester are not for certain cars, take it to the toyota dealer they will tell you what is wrong not just quote a code at you.
