hi, i have a celica im trying to make look nice, it currently has 14inch tires with no rims/hubcaps and they look horrible. i drive in the city of pittsburgh, lots of drastically steep hills and bumps and with the 14's i constantly scrap the botton of my car and i even broke the cadalydic converter on my car. i was thinking maybe i could get 15/16/17inch rims they would look nicer and help preserve my car.
how will this affect my car? handling, gas mileage? ect. also will this make my car higher up to avoid scrapping pavement? also say if i got 16/17 rims could i get a bodykit and have enough height to clear the ground and bumps from driveways/speedbumps steep hills ect.
i am constantly driving becasue i deliver pizza's, is it a bad idea to put money into this car? everything mechanically works fina and my car has 165k miles on it. asthetically its kinda week, paint faded and scrathed, wheels and no rims, some minor dents which ill be fixing. as for the paint im getting automotive spray paint to touch it up ( is that a good idea as well ? )
