Problem with toyota sequior 2003?

Default Problem with toyota sequior 2003?
I recently changed the brake pads in the car but after that the engine light and the brake light would not come of on the dashboard any ideas? Thanks for the help

If the motor is running rough it could be the vvt sensor , keep the motor clean on the inside & outside & if it continues to run bad don't run it unless a mechanic checks it out & tells u what the code means ,

was the engine light "ON" before the brake job? Generally the engine light doesnt have anything to do with the brakes - its probably got a separate problem. The brake light is turned ON by the parking brake being set - or partially set. Make sure it is fully released and the switch is working. The brk lt is also turned on by LOW fluid or a failed fluid sensor. Check 'em out.
