a car battery is a car battery. doesn't matter with the year, make, or model unless it is superrrrr old. go to walmart, the cheapest one will start at 70 and goes up from there. I don't exactly recommend the 70 dollar one.

The Prius has 2 batteries.















A normal 12V one to start the engine - cost of replacement around $75































The High Voltage hybrid traction batteries are another story - about $3500-4000 to replace.

Presuming that you mean the large traction battery, the cost is $1724.25 plus installation which is about $500.
