toyota sienna wont start?
Hi. My 2002 toyota sienna xle just shut off while i was driving. Now it wont start. the mechanic has checked everything. The spark plugs are working, the fuel is getting to the engine. The timing belt and water pump is working, which were both replaced 2 weeks ago. the mechanic is saying it has to be a sensor or the on board computer immobilizer system. he cant get anything from the computer in terms of error codes. i dont want to spend more on the computer if its not the problem. could this a be the problem? its wierd that it shut off out of now where while i was on a hwy.
thanks. problem is that today is sat n around where i am in new york city almost majority places are closed. other places that are open are far so i would have to tow it again. i dont wanna go other places if this is a simple sesnor or computer problem which it seems since its a toyota. my mechanic is one of the best around here, this is the first time he is havin issues bc there is nothin wrong mechanically. i checked everything with him. im not good with computer or auto electronics, wat could be the average price to reprogram it so it would start or can i reset it myself.
