Default Buying a 93 Supra tt. Help!?
I'm in the process of purchasing a 93 supra tt from a private seller. Says the there may be a waste gate problem. He says it dosen't seem to open at stock max boost level which is 11 psi. Says he assumes this is due to the previous owner had an hks evc hooked up to and left the wastegate to sit and rust away. Is this something to be seriously worried about or is it easiy fixable? Also any input on specific problems supra may have to look for would be of help. Thanks

It sounds like a big can of worms.































The seller is using a lot ot "wiggle words" (may be, doesn't seem, assumes) which means that he either doesn't know what he's talking about, or would like to give you that impression rather than tell you that he's already had an estimate.































It would pay to have a qualified mechanic go over the car.
