Default 2003 Toyota Avenis steering makes noise when going through humps or potholes?
my toyota avenis 2003 yr with power steering makes noise in steering / steering rack and also when i turn the steering , it makes a unusual click noise, any ideas what it could be and how much to get it repaired?

there are many reasons for this, mainly failure in bushes/swivel joints prob cost inc parts around £100 to £200 cost is labour ask for several quotes to avoid rip offs.

If its the newer 03 model, they have a common fault with the steering rack and inner tie rods.















plus according to toyota main stealers, you need to buy the whole lot as one part. about ?600 plus labour.
