Default Toyota Avensis 2003 steering column problem?
i bought the car from a dealer and while few miles down the road, the car steering started rattling so i went back to dealer and he just said to contact rac warranty as car comes with 3 months rac silver warranty. But i wanted to know that will rac warranty cover wear and tear steering column as dealer is refusing to do anything about it, he just says to call rac warranty as they aint going to do anything and how much can a steering column replacement or repair cost?? pls help thanks and can i take any action against dealer as he assured me several times that every part is fine

The Sale of Goods act gives you rights against the Seller, and no one else.































It must be fit for purpose, as described, merchantable quality etc. - if not, the Seller is liable to repair or refund it.































If they will not, contact your local trading standards office & make a formal complaint.
