my dash board lights are not working.?

Default my dash board lights are not working.?
it all started when my friend fitted on my new radio.all the other lights are working.he is an outo electrician and he is telling me that they not connected with the radio.my car is a toyota carina 2000 edition.

If you're talking about the backlight (when you turn on your headlights at night and your dash lights up so you can see it) then there should an adjustable dimmer switch on the dash -- make sure its not set to fully dim































If its out completely then start checking all of the fuses to see which one is blown
