Default cant disable alarm on 2000 toyota tacoma prerunner after replacing battery?
i dont have clicker and alarm wont reset

had the same problem in my 1994 toyota pickup a quick solution I found was to find the alarm wiring underneath the steering column to the left and I was able to unplug that wire specifically so that it still makes a clicking sound but no sound and my tail lights don't blink anymore.

There should be a red button somewhere on the lower left side of the dash. Hold that button while turning the key in the ignition from off to on, but don't start it. Should be good.
