Default Can I put 17in tires on a 2003 4X4 Toyota Tacoma Extra-cab?
It has 265/70/16 on it now. I do not have a lift kit of any kind. I can get a great deal on some 17in wheels!

The wheel well might not be large enough. If you get new rims, make sure to use hub ring spacers if necessary as well. By the way, larger tires are going to KILL your gas mileage. You drive a 4x4, your mileage is probably horrible as it is.































I don't know why people are obsessed with rims anyway. The economy sucks and people can't afford to pa their taxes and bills, but when it comes to buying shiny rims, well, its a necessity they need them.

Yes the rims will fit but you will need to get a slightly lower profile tire then what you are running on the 16 inch rims. like maybe a 65 or 60 series Tire. instead of 70.
