could be.
respectfully,
there's a reason for no replies here,
give us a clue,
taco, runner, tundra, manual or auto transmission, year?????????????????????????
you can go to this pg. dl the app FSM, go rent a scanner (post '95), or have it blink at you (pre '96), and pull some codes. or ask a shop to do that.
EDIT, sorry, forgot the link to the FSM,

first thing should be a "complete full" tune up. good baseline for trouble shooting, the issue maybe that simple. the cost of a tune up is peanuts compared to what it used to be. go from there. w/o trouble codes, we need more info. cuts out or dies? idle or under load? engine hot or cold? otherwise idles or accelerates smooth?
w/o codes, these are the things we need to know.

EDIT,
manual trans, good, not in the mix.
i know you say "no codes".
not all codes prompt a light, i suggest pulling the EFI main fuse for 30secs (that will clear any prior codes that may have been addressed and are not relative now). start it.. the ecu should gather a new baseline. if anything is not within specs, should show up during this process,
