Well I don't know a lot about Toyota engines but I do know that if you told me in liters I would be able to help the biggest 4 cylinder from Toyota right now and the most refined is the 2.7 4 cylinder from the highlander and venza but the smaller 2.5 from the rav4 is very refined and i think would fit better in the car but if I could do it I would just try to make the 2.7 fit since it has 187 Hp and its really good on economy but the downside is it comes with a 6 speed. If you've got the time, knowledge and MONEY, you could fit anything from a Brigs & Stratton lawn mower engine to an Allison V-12 aircraft engine.































If you just want more power, why not start with modifying the engine you have.

well as it is such an old car why not just scrap it anyway.
