Is insurance expensive on a Toyota MR2 or Miata?

In general, unless you were to buy a supercar, the car itself isn't a major player in your insurance costs (with just liability). If you have full-coverage insurance, however, it will be quite cheap to insure the mr2 (older car) and depend on the year of the miata, the same goes for that.

An MR2 is considered a "guy's car"and such cars have high insurance costs.















Meanwhile, a Miata is considered a "girl's car" and for that reason it has very low insurance costs. I would buy a Miata, just stay away from a red color as that is too much like 'lipstick' color.
