Default Where can I find an OEM gray egg-shaped Toyota remote?
It's for a 98 Corolla. I have a black one (egg shaped - same kind) for a 96 Corolla I owned before, but it doesn't work for the 98 car. If anyone knows where I can find it for cheap, or is willing to trade the black one for it please contact me.

The egg shaped remote is discontinued (first source) but a clone or new style remote is available (second source). Sure enough, they list different part numbers for 1996 (4211) and 1998 (4210). I've used the company a few times and found them to be reliable.

At the dealer but it will not be cheap. You can also try an independent auto store.

check the source below, they sell remotes for just about every car made and have been known to have remotes custom made when they are no longer available.































they used to have a list of locksmith "dealers" nation wide to help in programming, but i don't know if they still do that or not.
