HOW DO I WORK MY RAV4 SAT NAV?

Hello All

I have a new 60 plate Toyota Rav4 and love it!! However having been able to get around most of the gadgets i cannot for the life of me set the Sat Nav!! I work in the community so Im on the road a lot, can some give me a basic guide how to set the Sat Nav up!! I know it does all sorts, but i would just like to be able to put in a destination and go!!! any help advice would be appreciated, many thanks in advance

Hi Violet

they are not the simplest sat nav on the market, you do need to go back to the dealer for some instruction as this is complex. they will spend time in most cases explaining the controls i have had mine on a land cruiser now for over 3 years and it still gives me issues.

it gets lost and takes me places if i don't watch it. like the wrong way down a one way street.

or off road where there is no road. so the destination is not very clever be aware it is not the best on the market not so reliable as a map.

yes it has a few things you need to watch,NAVTECH american again. they could not have possibly driven it around like they are supposed to have.

so the best of luck but the salesman that sold it is the best person to consult about how to use it.
