new gear from toy would likely cost more than $1000 bucks. from a wrecking yard, that's taking a chance it wont leak, but way cheaper.
i think i would try what this person is doing b4 all that (save the pump).
the most common reason a hydraulic cylinder leaks after reseal is,
not lubricating the seal/o-ring prior to assembly. they can roll or get cut.
seals/o-rings not facing the correct direction.
o-ring/seal and teflon back up installed backwards. o-ring/seal towards the pressure then the back up.

4x4 steering gear dis-assembly/inspection/servicing/reassembly starts on pg 1360.
pump info starts on pg 1319.
guessing internal pump parts can only be had through toy. that may very well exceed the cost of an after market pump.
then replace and adjust the belt.
