Default Did Toyota steal the design of the Prius from the Honda CRX?
Did they steal the basic shape, the vertical rear window, etc or do you think the basic design provides the lowest air drag in any vehicle?

I own a 91 CRX and never gave that any thought, I think your probably right about the lower air drag. Interesting thought though

The vertical rear window has been around for a long time. Even GM used it in the Aztec.

Since the first generation was built from scratch to be a revolutionary - rather than evolutionary - 21st century car (the project was called G21) I would be shocked if Toyota decided to copy a design that had been around a while for the second generation.
