Default Is toyota celica 1987 conv. Worth it?
Im looking for my firsr car and this guy selling his toyota celica 1987 convertible around 187k milesage, its really nice and runs great but is it worth it? I'm worrying bout the insuarnce though. Any advice guys before i buy this?































Im a student and work part time, i have $2k for the car.

no, old cars are extremely unreliable and usually more expensive to fix. bad idea for a student. on the plus side in one more year you wouldn't have to pay tax because it would then be a classic (cars 25 years and over are classics, no tax, i know this applies in the uk)

how would we know? you are the one interested you have not told us much, what is the price? and if you have questions about the mechanical conditon of a used car, call a mechanic and have it inspected toyota dang near run forever so if that car was taken care of it may go 300 thousand or more miles, www.nada.com has low retail at 3,075 bucks, and average retail for 4,250 so if the car is in nice shape and runs good and the mechanic says go for it buy it. if they are asking 2 k for it that is a great price.
