Default whats a good price on a 1988 toyota celica gt?
convertible, 4cyl automatic two door, air works, new water pump, and timing belt, 100k miles needs tune up and new top















i may be buying this car for my son and not sure on a good price the guy wants 800 for it















800 dollars* sorry

800 what ? dollars ? Euros ? pounds ? potatoes ?































Im assuming its dollars since americans think the dollar is used world wide.















800 dollars is way too much for a 1988 car. this car will definatly need TLC.































PS:Ask for 500 and he might lower to 700 ask for 600 and if he agrees then you just saved 200$.

Keep in mind that replacing the top is going to cost a couple hundred. Why not just buy a 1200 - 1300 dollar car that doesn't need a new top. Mechanical issues aside, you would be spending that much after replacing the top. I would be weary of "just needs a tune up" too. That can also translate into money pit. Age affects a car as well; its 23-24 years old.
