Why would one of my headlights turn pink?

Default Why would one of my headlights turn pink?
I have an 04 Prius and one night I noticed that one of the headlights are pink now. Why? Is there anything that I can do or do I just have to replace it?

You could either get use to the "pink" eye or replace the capsule.

The bulb needs replacing. The HID bulb doesn't have a filament, it's an arc similar to a mercury vapour lamp. When there is not enough current it doesn't fully arc and so it's pink, just like when the mercury vapour lamp first turns on.

if one light turns pink is because the light is bad. and you most likely have XENON HID bulbs from factory. The reason is because your bulb has burn out the xenon gas and is time to replace them.
