2002 toyota camry for a road trip?

Default 2002 toyota camry for a road trip?
I just want to be reassured that it wont break down on the way. I am taking a trip all the way from NC to California, before I go though im going to change the oil, I have new breaks installed, replaced all the fluids, and new tires. No history of major problems before, and it has around 145,000 miles on it. Will I be ok?

As long as you have done all those things it should be good. But if you have not done so at the time of the work being done, you should tell the mechanic what you have told us, that you are going on a long trip and want to make sure everything is looking good for the trip. He will see the car from its age and its miles point of view for the trip, to make sure anything that may need work is done before starting out. If he is a good and trusted mechanic, he will tell you the truth either way. Better safe than sorry right? Good luck on your trip, and enjoy it!
