Step by step:
1. Loosen your lugnuts, jack it off, take the tire off.
2. Remove your brake caliper, pads and rotor. (Two bolts should hold the caliper)
3. Disconnect the tie rod end, ball joint, and (sway bar) from the hub assembly.
4. Remove the hub assembly.
5. The CV shaft should slide right out from the transmission.
6. I assume that you're replacing the half-shaft, not just the joint.
7. If you're trying to replace just the joint, invest in a mechanic.
