Default i just bought a 2009 toyota corolla?
do I need to do all the scheduled maintenance at the dealer only or can I take it to my regular mechanic? The dealer is insanely expensive on everything, or will that void the warranty? The warranty I have is a lifetime warranty through the dealer

Lifetime warranty on a used car? You better read that one again.































Of course if the service is covered under the warranty the dealer is the ONLY one who will honor that warranty. So you are forced to take it to them.































Non-warranty work can be done at any shop you choose.

What is the lifetime warranty for? The overall vehicle and parts or just the maintenance.
