Default i have corolla 2007 model. it makes very scraping noise on the rear wheels whenever i start...
...the car.? i have 2007 toyota corolla. Whenever i start the car first thing in the morning and hit the brakes, it makes a very loud scraping noise on the rear wheels. As i drive a bit more and use the breaks a little more the scraping sound come down. Also the front left hand side tire is loosing air slowly. I do not understand what is going on. I have done all the yearly inspections and nothing seems to be wrong in the inspection. can somebody help me?

Since you have said you have done all the yearly inspections. I am not sure on the brakes. As far as the tire goes i presume you have had a repair shop look at. If not i would. My guess maybe a pin hole in the tire. Also maybe the tire is not sealed tight on the rim.

The morning squeak is caused by rust forming on the disc or drum. once you use the brakes and the rust gets rubbed off the sound goes away. I call it normal wear and tear. No problem there. The tire on the other hand. Stuff happens. Go get a new one.
