How much to fix the brakes for 2010 Toyota Corolla?

Default How much to fix the brakes for 2010 Toyota Corolla?
It makes a lot of noises. How much will it cost if I bring the car to Toyota Services and to a shop. Which one is better or cheaper to fix?

Sounds to me like the brake pads are shot, which is rather surprising on such a new car. The pads cost around $50, and they will likely charge around $50-75 for labor at either place.

Do it yourself...if this is the first set of pads on the car and it has relatively low mileage the rotors probably wont need to be turned and the pads usually run 30.-40. from your local auto parts store. Most people unfamiliar with brakes think that it is complicated when its one of the easiest repairs to make..2 bolts and the old pads are out!

Best to send it to the Toyota dealer. Plus you have Toyota Care warranty.
