Toyota Highlander or Toyota Rav4?

Default Toyota Highlander or Toyota Rav4?
I'm considering one of those two to buy for my family. My 2 younger brother and my mom and her bf are living with me in the house that I own, and I want to get an SUV big enough for my family whenever we decide to go into road trips or just anywhere.































I live in Van Nuys, CA, a suburban of Los Angeles, so if I choose a Highlander driving in the streets would not be a problem cause we have wider streets here then the west coast. (I use to live in NJ which I know it will be hard for me driving a highlander esp in the snow)































I do have the money to pay for it. So I have no problem giving toyota a one time payment so that I have no car loans.































What are your opinions on the toyota highlander and/or toyota rav4?

How big are your younger brothers? The third row in the RAV4 is not suitable for adults, the Highlander is (as long as they're not too tall).































I'd get the Highlander for that many people.

They're both reliable choices. The Highlander does have more space and a larger 3rd row, although it costs more to buy. The Highlander has the option of a hybrid drive-train if that interests you. The RAV4 gets better fuel economy than the non-hybrid Highlander.































Be sure to test-drive one of each. I haven't driven a RAV4 but I know the Highlander drives like a dream--especially the hybrid.

The 2011 toyota sienna minivan is nicer, bigger, more comfortable. gets better gas, is easier to drive, and is cheaper to buy. THAT is you best deal. Don't buy any Toyota till yoy have driven one. They even come in 4 wheel drive to be good in snow! I looked at highlander, sienna is better. good luck!
