Default Are Toyotas still safe to buy?
I'm considering buying a toyota highlander but I am still worried because of the major recalls back in 2009.































What's your opinion?

All car manufacturers have recalls. Use edmunds.com to look at the professional reviews of whichever type of car you're thinking of buying.

They never were unsafe all car manufacturers have issues like Toyota and only about 60 cars actually had the accelerator issue thats right 60 known cases of bad accelerator switches. considering all the cars made by Toyota in 09 around the world!































I never did consider them unsafe, Toyota makes great automobiles.

I drive an 09 Camry. Ive never had an issue. Just got the recall done last month because I was lazy. They are very solid car's.
